Roeburn's KVZ Special Leigh
ADGA #: A1945373
DOB: 04/07/2018  Breed: French Alpine
Sire: Kickapoo-Valley Careles Zydeco
Dam: Roeburn's Nikola's Milana

Leigh was an unplanned purchase from Roeburn Farm. We went to buy a buckling and returned with Leigh as well. We're so grateful Cathy Mabie decided to let us buy her. Leigh is hardy and parasite resistant. She has a socked on udder and while her teats were very small initially, they lengthened over the course of her first lactation. She is a dream to hand milk and keeps great body condition throughout lactation with little grain. She has excellent manners all the way around.

First Freshening: 4/21/2019 (buck/doe twins)
8 cups of milk e/ 12 hours at peak lactation
Second Freshening: 3/31/2020 (buckling singleton)
10 cups of milk e/ 12 hours at peak lactation

Sugar Top Farm Saint Helens
ADGA #: GA2017229
DOB: 04/27/2019  Breed: Grade Alpine
Sire:
Roeburn's Corelli Jazkaran *B
Dam: Sugar Top Farm Sugar Cake

Helen was part of a triplet litter from our first doe Sugar (see reference section). Sugar almost lost this pregnancy, and immediately after delivering the triplets began getting sick with an incurable neoplasia. Helen is her legacy and we intend to honor Sugar by continuing her lineage. Of all of Sugar's offspring, Helen's personality reminds me the most of her dam. We are excited to see how she matures.

First Freshening: 5/12/2020 (buckling singleton)
12 cups of milk e/12 hours at peak lactation

Sugar Top Farm Pippilotta
ADGA #: GA1860330

DOB: 03/08/2017 Breed: Grade Alpine
Sire:
Pike Farm One More Time
Dam: Sugar Top Farm Twinkle Toes

Pippi is the grand daughter of our first doe, Sugar (see reference section). Pippi was born with a little smile but as she grew it became apparent that she has what is called a wry face. Our veterinarian does not believe it is hereditary in Pippi's case, though it may cause eating/drinking/breathing problems as she ages. She will live out her life here and we will love her as long as we have her.

First Freshening: 04/12/2018 (doeling singleton)
Second Freshening: 04/15/2020 (buck/doe twins)

ADGA #: AA1931366

DOB: 04/12/2018 Breed: American Alpine
Sire: Roeburn's KVZ Colbey *B
Dam: Sugar Top Farm Pippilotta (above)

Though never bred, Loki developed a precocious udder in 2020 and upon milking continued to produce for approximately 6 months. Her average production was 4 cups of milk every 12 hours. We are excited for her 2021 freshening (check out our breeding page).
