Roeburn's KVZ Special Leigh
ADGA #: PA1945373 DOB: 04/07/2018 Breed: French Alpine Sire: Kickapoo-Valley Careles Zydeco Dam: Roeburn's Nikola's Milana Leigh was an unplanned purchase from Roeburn Farm. We went to buy a buckling and returned with Leigh as well. We're so grateful Cathy Mabie decided to let us buy her. Leigh is hardy and parasite resistant. She has a socked on udder and while her teats were very small initially, they lengthened with lacation. She is a dream to hand milk and keeps great body condition throughout lactation with little grain. First Freshening: 4/21/2019 (buck/doe twins) 8 cups of milk e/ 12 hours at peak lactation Second Freshening: 3/31/2020 (buckling singleton) 10 cups of milk e/ 12 hours at peak lactation Third Freshening: 5/9/2021 (doeling twins) 10 cups of milk e/ 12 hours at peak lactation Fourth Freshening: 5/12/2022 (doeling twins) in progress. |
Sugar Top Farm Pippilotta
ADGA #: GA1860330 DOB: 03/08/2017 Breed: Grade Alpine Sire: Pike Farm One More Time Dam: Sugar Top Farm Twinkle Toes Pippi is the grand daughter of our first doe, Sugar (see reference section). Pippi was born with a little smile but as she grew it became apparent that she has a wry face. Our veterinarian does not believe it is hereditary in Pippi's case, though it may cause eating/drinking/breathing problems as she ages. She will live out her life here and we will love her as long as we have her. First Freshening: 04/12/2018 (doeling singleton) Second Freshening: 04/15/2020 (buck/doe twins) Third Freshening: 05/16/2021 (twin doelings) 8 cups of milk e/ 12 hours at peak lactation Fourth Freshening: 05/04/2022 (buck/doe twins) in progress |
Lazy-Lady-Farm's Serendipity
ADGA #: AA2190594 DOB: 03/15/2021 Breed: American Alpine SS: *B Redwood Hills Jazz Rimrock Sire: *B Tempo Aquila RR Jonathan SD: 6*M SGCH Tempo Aquila Free Spindle DS: *B Redwood Hills Lance Bruno Dam: Lazy-Lady-Farm's Evolution DD: Lazy-Lady-Farm's Edith Serendipity was a heart decision; a purchase from Lazy Lady Farm. Her maternal granddam, Lazy-Lady-Farm's Edith, was full sister to our first goat and the namesake for our farm: Sugar. Her maternal grandsire, Redwood Hills Lance Bruno, also sired the first kid we ever had born on our farm. Not only does she share some genetics with our late Sugar, but she looks very much like her, and we are blessed to have her at our farm. First Freshening: 05/06/2022 (singleton doeling) in progress |
Sugar Top Farm Larkspur
ADGA #: PA2245816 DOB: 05/12/22 Breed: French Alpine Sire: *B Roeburn's MC Chauncy Dam: Roeburn's KVZ Special Leigh Lark was retained to be a companion for her dam, Leigh. She has a pedigree packed full of excellent genetics and we're really excited to have her join our herd. |
Sugar Top Farm Periwinkle
ADGA #: AA2235445 DOB: 05/04/22 Breed: American Alpine Sire: *B Tempo Aquila RR Jonathan Dam: Sugar Top Farm Pippilotta Periwinkle may very well be her dam's last doeling, so we decided to retain Peri to be a companion for Pippi. Periwinkle is long and tall like her sire. She's got a level topline and width like her dam, though she is horrible to stand for posed photos (candids are much more her style). The best part: Peri has captured the excellent personality of both her parents. We just love this little doeling. |
Sugar Top Farm Epiphany
ADGA #: AA235446 DOB: 05/06/22 Breed: American Alpine Sire: *B Roeburn's MC Chauncy Dam: Lazy-Lady-Farm's Serendipity We do not usually keep offspring from first fresheners but could not resist retaining Epiphany. Not only did I have a dream about Serendipity having this doeling, but the moment I laid eyes on her, I knew she was something special. We're excited to watch her mature. |
